Cutting and Cleaning a Leek

Leeks are a vegetable that I don’t use too often, but are especially tasty in soups.  They look like a giant green onion.  They do not taste good at all raw and must be cooked.  There is a bit of a trick to cleaning and cutting them as well.  Since leeks will be part of my dinner tonight,  here is a video that I keep on hand for a refresher course whenever I need it.  Good to know!
