Tonight I had two pounds of ground turkey to use up. I also had these cute little potato buns from Martins. They weren’t quite slider size, but also no where near full burger size. Anyway, between the turkey and these 100 calorie buns, we were looking pretty low-cal. So, I decided to make a couple different versions and yes, we have a ton leftover, too. Don’t forget to top ’em with a slice of cheese (naturally slender for us)!
Version 1: Ground turkey, Italian seasoning, a little diced red onion
Version 2: Ground turkey, chopped sun dried tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, and a little fresh baby spinach waiting on the bun
Version 3: (SO SIMPLE, but our fave of the night) Ground turkey with just a bit of pesto mixed though
